    Job Description

    The Global Threat & Risk Analyst is responsible for researching, analyzing, and collecting data on global, all-hazard impacts to business to fulfill a role advising and notifying stakeholders in support of their decision-making. The center will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in collaboration with a standing Global Security Operations Center, and active travel security team at the client's downtown Seattle office. This is a contracted full-time position.

     

    The analyst will:

    • Maintain the core functions of the analysis team in its mission as a hub of collection, dissemination, and analysis to a global workforce
    • Coordinate response to incidents within a multi-team department, and proactively identify threats of potential impact to business
    • Provide analytical support in real-time, and conduct in-depth research from all sources (social media, news, proprietary sources, etc.) 
    • Produce timely publications and reports to stakeholders to support their decision making concerning a wide variety of topics
    • Contribute to and maintain databases of security information and previous analysis as a resource for employees
    • Maintain the security and confidentiality of employee information and operations
    • Inform and educate decision-makers on a myriad of risk and threat topics

     

    An analyst candidate should have:

    • One (1) – three (3) years applicable threat, risk, or security analysis experience
    • Exemplary critical thinking, analytical skills, and judgment
    • Demonstrable ability to react quickly, calmly, and professionally in situations of high stress
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Verifiable professional and/or academic research skills
    • Ability to work independently and within a team
    • Proficiency with Windows-based computers
    • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook, Sharepoint), Google Chrome, Drive, IDV, Tableau, Salesforce.com, and Earth/Maps or related programs
    • Willingness to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

      

    Preferable additional qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher in history, political science, international affairs/relations, or related security program
    • Experience editing, writing, and publishing products to a corporate audience
    • Multilingual
