    Job Description


    At Allied Universal Security Services, Training and development are the fundamental keys to our success and we celebrate our continued recognition for our many programs as the most honored security services company nationwide.


    We are currently seeking a National Training and Development Manager at our Corporate East Office in Conshohocken, PA.  This role will support the Training and Development team’s initiatives and the successful implementation of Allied Universal’s standard training programs which will include onboarding and ongoing development of support and management.   Key elements of the position include:

    • Business Partner-Responsible for managing, implementing, evaluating and presenting the curriculum for the various Allied Universal |Academies to align with desired business outcomes. This includes orchestrating all learning opportunities and key experiences that have been deemed necessary to take place within the first year.
    • Facilitate- Responsible for the assessment and delivery of technology training needs in collaboration with corporate support, business development and operational leaders at all levels.
    • Measure-Responsible for the implementation and management of an evaluation process to measure the success of training and development initiatives and programs through surveys, personal interviews and detailed results analysis.
    • Support- work with the Training & Organizational Effectiveness team to create and facilitate training programs and cultural transformation initiatives critical to business success. Travel to client locations and field offices to provide operations support with training initiatives, acquisitions and large account transitions as needed.
    • Mentor- consult with the Regional leaders to support onboarding, mentoring and coaching for first line managers. Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement.

    The Corporate Training and Development Manager reports to the National Director, Corporate Training and Development who is based in Conshohocken, PA. 



    The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of general business experience. At least 2 years of direct field operations experience implementing and facilitating training programs is preferred.    Knowledge of internal Allied Universal systems (WinTeam, DOMO, EDGE, SharePoint) are preferred and strong computer skills are required.  Other Requirements Include:

    • Excellent/Advanced presentation skills (both in person and web-based)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of AUS Management (Site Supervisor to Senior Leadership).
    • Proven experience developing others and effectively collaborating in a team oriented environment
    • Ability to assist in sales, operations, recruiting, or administration on an as needed basis
    • Position requires reliable transportation and ability to work in different geographic locations as necessary
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule and to work evenings, weekends and holidays as requested or required
    • Position requires up to 30% travel.
