    Job Description

    The Investigative Analyst is primarily responsible for directing internal and external investigations on behalf of client Enterprise Security and Preparedness department:

    • Assists enterprise investigations including frauds, thefts, and business conduct guideline violations, due diligence, drugs, workplace violence issues, backgrounds and executive special requests.
    • Maintain close partnership with law enforcement personnel and prosecutors and is responsible for report preparation and evidence gathering.
    • Analyzes, recommends, and utilizes appropriate security equipment, concepts, and techniques that are related to the investigative function.
    • Organize and analyze results of investigations, report findings to client and recommendations strategy for corrective actions.
    • Provides testimony in civil and criminal court and participates in the taking of sworn depositions, case preparation, witness briefing, court exhibit identification and organization, and other court matters.

     

    Physical and Mental Functions and Additional Responsibilities:

    • Produce background reports on individuals and corporations for internal investigations, Compliance, and Mergers and Acquisitions using open source data, social media platforms and the TLO investigative database.
    • Assist in the administration of the TLO investigative database and run reports for department members as requested.
    • Maintain the Person of Interest files for the client enterprise security department and continuously monitor individuals that may pose a security threat.
    • Use available online resources and social media platforms to document a list of potentially disruptive individuals for executive meetings.
    • Review and document submitted Lost or Stolen Device Reports and assist in collection of electronic assets. 
    • Assist client investigative team with gathering information for ongoing investigations using open source data, social media platforms, and client software programs including Lenel, PassagePoint, Milestone, and Perspective.
    • Review and export video footage using Milestone video software.
    • Document investigations in Perspective report writing software.
    • Use Lenel access control software to gather information on individuals and run individual badge and reader reports.
    • Provide executive security and assist in transporting senior leadership and board members for high profile events. 
    • Conduct intelligence briefings as required using available social media search platforms.
    • Manage client key control program.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Qualified applicants for the Investigative Analyst position will meet the minimum requirements, as described below:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience
    • 5+ years of previous investigative experience required.  
    • At least 19 years of age
    • Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
    • Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting; requires strong computer and technological skills
    • Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
    • Must be able to obtain a valid Guard License as required in the state for which you are applying
    • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
    • As a condition of employment, employee must be able to successfully pass a motor vehicle check. 
    • As a condition of continued employment, employee must maintain current active status of all required License at all times, and must carry the license at all times while on duty
    • Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
    • Remain flexible to ever changing environments; adapt well to different situations
    • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
    • Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard;
    • Neat and professional appearance
    • Ability to provide quality customer service
    • Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
    • Read, understand and clearly speak English; constantly use speech and hearing (correctable to normal level required) in communicating with public/co-workers, giving and receiving instructions, using phones
    • Must be able to handle pressure of working with high volume general public (constantly to occasionally depending on assignment)
