Allied Universal is seeking a Director of Corporate Spend to oversee the management of Allied Universal’s over $1 billion in third party spend. The Director of Corporate Spend will be responsible for achieving improvements in spend efficiency across the organization. This will be accomplished by working directly with all spend category owners (each an Allied Universal executive) to execute their spend reduction and efficiency initiatives. The Director of Corporate spend will help drive the re-engineering of different internal processes to ensure that spend reduction and management is sustainable and recurring. The Director of Corporate Spend will be responsible for using the following tools and sources of information to develop spend reduction plans and validate achievement: financial results (i.e. general ledger information);and Allied Universal business intelligence tools (Domo) to aggregate detailed spend and invoice data. The Director of Corporate Spend will work closely with Allied Universal’s major vendors (fleet, real estate, uniforms) to ensure that we are partnering most effectively to reduce our costs. The Director of Corporate spend will work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to establish annual operating budgets.
