    Job Description


    The Shared Services Supervisor – HR Transaction Processing is a customer focused position responsible for providing the highest level of service and support to all clients (e.g. vendor, internal client, external client, employees, prospects) and supporting the day to day operations of the HR Transaction Processing team. This team primarily focuses on timely and accurate transaction processing of exception and miscellaneous items related to the employee master record with an emphasis on auditing, quality assurance and controls. The position must also have the ability to train new hires and assist managers as requested.


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Support, train, enable and coach HR Transaction Processing Specialists and supervise workflow in a high volume processing environment
    • Monitor quality assurance controls and ensure all Sarbanes Oxley compliance standards are being met
    • Understand and manage a variety of vacation and sick plans
    • Problem Resolution – Ability to analyze employment status issues and identify the root cause; then partner with HR to prevent further reoccurences
    • Onboard, train and mentor new hires for the HR Transaction Processing Specialist role
    • Process overflow


    Additional Responsibilities:


    • Document in detail and maintain department policy and procedures
    • Educate HR and operations on employment and employee master record policy and procedure
    • Assist with any other special projects requested
    • Solid working understanding of Human Resources administrative functions.
    • Solid basic knowledge of employment regulations and relevant laws.
    • Previous experience with Unemployment Compensation administration and vendor interaction preferred.
    • Familiarity with Windows-based applications. Solid working knowledge of MS Office. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel and HRIS.
    • Detail oriented and ability to perform in a high-volume work environment while meeting tight deadlines.
    • Ability to implement new processes and procedures and to assist Manager, Corporate Human Resources, with identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvements.
    • Strong analytical, planning, organization and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Outstanding written and oral communications skills.
