    Job Description

    This position is responsible for providing social media monitoring, information collection, analyzing, and dissemination in a timely manner to key stakeholders. Intelligence analysts must use the full range of intelligence community sources and products to identify/assess threats to the organization/sector, prepare studies and assessments of threats, potential threats, and threat-related trends using sophisticated collection/research methodologies, and work with customized targeting infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Closely follow current world events
    • Analyze pertinent news stories for relevant content
    • Synthesize news articles and prepare for online publication
    • Support country-event database and process development
    • Gain a working knowledge of country, regional, and global issues
    • Provide contextual analysis for future reports
    • Assist in updating country intelligence reports on a continual basis
    • Support internal medical and security operations teams by providing information and alerts about potential events or issues that could impact clients
    • Conduct research and analysis in support of client requests
    • Assist with various other tasks as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in intelligence at the local, state, or federal level.
    • An engaged consumer of news and international affairs
    • Ability to identify international events of importance through multiple methods beyond the top headlines
    • Strong analytical capabilities to understand importance of international events and their impact on clients
    • An interest in the international intelligence and security field
    • Highly energetic and motivated to succeed
    • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
    • Willingness to take initiative
    • Exceptional written English skills
    • Attention to detail and follow-through
    • Efficient time management and organizational skills
    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in international relations or political science
