    Job Description

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    We are currently seeking an experienced security operations professional to lead one of our National Accounts based in CA. This Vice President of Operations is responsible for the strategic national oversight of the security program for our client, ensuring contract compliance and the development of relationships with Allied Universal client contacts nationally. The VP will be a liaison for regional and local Allied Universal Branch Managers to help ensure all operational, financial and administrative functions for assigned account have been performed. The VP will be successful by providing quality customer service and leadership to our clients while assisting in achieving the financial goals and objectives of Allied Universal. Primary responsibilities include:

    • Partner with our client to lead and provide strategic vision for dynamic, growing National Account
    • Ensure contract compliance at all assigned properties, in partnership with site Account Managers and Assistant National Account Portfolio Manager and other supporting portfolio positions
    • Identify security issues and opportunities and recommend solutions to client’s corporate security team
    • Respond to critical incidents at client locations 
    • Develop relationship with local and regional client contacts
    • Detect and present industry best practices to our customer

     

    This position is based in Menlo Park, CA and reports to the SVP, National Accounts Portfolio Management. The position requires up to 35% domestic travel to client locations as well as other Allied Universal offices when necessary.

     

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Active participation in industry specific professional organizations such as ASIS. 
    • Work with all levels of the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all information and data.
    • Provide annual business reviews to client contacts.
    • Keep records and prepare accurate and timely reports both manually and through automated methods.
    • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Criminal Justice preferred.
    • Minimum 8 years of management experience.
    • Minimum 8 years of security management experience
