    Job Description

    POSITION OVERVIEW

     

    Peoplemark, an Allied Universal Company, is seeking a Selling Branch Manager to execute business to business outside sales while overseeing the Branch office.  Primary responsibilities include:

    • Lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate and regional sales objectives
    • Executes marketing plan by actively preparing sales through cold calling networking, and initiating sales prospects.
    • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships to generate new business and retain current clients
    • Source, screen and present strong temporary, temporary to hire and direct hire talent to clients within the region
    • Responsible for P&L Management and financial oversight of branch operations
    • Researches and monitors competitor sales and marketing activities.
    • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. Actively develops and maintains relationships with target clients, effectively utilizing available Universal marketing materials.
    • Prepares marketing activity reports and presents to management.
    • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all materials, communications and events.
    • Implements sales forecasting activities.
    • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote brand recognition in accordance with company objectives.
    • Meets with key clients, and maintains relationships in negotiating and closing deals.
    • Liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
    • Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
    • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
    • Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
    • Directs product research and development.

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree plus at least 3 years outside sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably with a service product.  Staffing industry experience overseeing a full desk is not required, but preferred. In addition, we seek the following:

    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented sales environment that allows for collaboration with the operations team in identifying and resolving issues and concerns
    • Financial Management experience
    • Proven track record of excellence in sales activity (awards, top rankings, etc.) using consultative sales techniques
    • A true hunter with the ability to leverage social media and professional networks (i.e. LinkedIn) to prospect and follow up with consistency.  Attend professional networking and community events when appropriate
    • Superior, world class interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid writing skills
    • Dedication to high quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven client and customer relationships
    • Proficient in web-based applications (i.e. salesforce.com), and programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint), to effectively edit and create reports, database entries and presentation materials
    • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to strategically plan sales calls, sales presentations and cold calling
    • Highly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships internally with all levels of the organization and manage under difficult service delivery timeframes
    • Sales training on strategic consultative selling techniques
    • Experience using a formal, defined sales process
    • Ability to travel throughout all areas of the territory, including some overnight travel
