The role requires proactive risk identification, effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to respond appropriately to evolving security concerns while maintaining strict confidentiality.

  • Contribute to the maintenance of personal security profiles and risk assessments for individuals receiving protective services.
  • Participate in physical security programs involving corporate facilities, residences, hotels, charter aircraft, special events, ground transportation, air transportation, and special projects.
  • Monitor developments and emerging threats related to terrorism, criminal activity, workplace violence, political instability, civil unrest, and executive protection.

Emergency Response and Protective Coordination

  • Initiate appropriate emergency response actions during crises, emergencies, or threats to the Principal.
  • Take proactive measures to reduce exposure to potential threats and respond effectively when incidents occur.
  • Provide basic first aid and emergency medical support within the scope of training and certification.
  • Maintain reliable communications with the client's Security Operations Center and designated support personnel.
  • Coordinate protective logistics with client staff, drivers, event hosts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless security coverage.
  • Assist in planning and executing visits involving dignitaries, heads of state, political leaders, and senior executives from other organizations.
  • Support the planning and execution of small- to medium-sized events and official visits to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Liaise with federal, state, and local law enforcement, host-country government officials, site hosts, and other relevant parties to support protective security objectives.

Investigations and Security Liaison

  • Gather relevant information, conduct fact-finding, and preserve pertinent evidence in accordance with client procedures and applicable law.
  • Coordinate with the client's fraud and corruption investigative unit (INT) on matters potentially involving staff.
  • Serve as a focal point for local law enforcement inquiries involving potential criminal matters requiring a client response.
  • Liaise with client investigative units, including INT and the Information Security Office, as appropriate.
  • Conduct interviews with client employees, consultants, or contractors when assigned and authorized.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive cases, records, and investigative information.
  • Provide regular briefings to the Contract Manager and Headquarters Security and obtain guidance when necessary.
  • Assist in directing other security office personnel or functions during assigned inquiries, as required.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years of experience in law enforcement, military service, intelligence, or a public or private security organization.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid New York State Armed Guard License.
  • Valid New York pistol permit and concealed-carry authorization, as applicable to the assignment and in accordance with current law.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to assess security concerns, exercise sound judgment, and respond appropriately to changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, colleagues, law enforcement, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to prepare clear reports, provide briefings, and maintain accurate documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Protection Officer (CPO) designation.
  • Experience supporting senior executives, high-profile individuals, or other clients requiring specialized protective services.
