Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Systems Analyst. The Security Systems Analyst is responsible for the support of all physical security systems including access control, CCTV operations, and dedicated alarm systems on a global wide spectrum. This position will also serve as the point of contact for training users to operate the access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.

 

 

Full Time: Monday - Friday

Must have Experience in Fire and Life Safety Systems, be able to use and understand NFPA/ICC codes

Hourly: $36.90

 

Basic Job Responsibilities:

  • Support fire life safety initiatives by assisting in the implementation and enforcement of fire safety standards across global offices.
  • Conduct fire safety risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with fire codes and organizational policies.
  • Assist in the investigation of fire incidents, analyze root causes, and contribute to the development of corrective action plans.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on fire protection systems, identified deficiencies, and necessary corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with the International Corporate Real Estate Group and other departments to ensure compliance with fire and life safety codes.
  • Assist in reviewing construction project documents and blueprints to verify alignment with life safety regulations.
  • Support Country Security Specialists (CSS) in planning and executing fire drills and training exercises.
  • Ensure the completion and proper documentation of annual fire drills in global offices.
  • Deliver fire safety training and guidance to local fire wardens and relevant stakeholders.
  • Respond to fire life safety inquiries from staff, project managers, Facilities Managers, and other stakeholders as directed.
  • Maintain up-to-date fire safety documentation, including inspection reports, risk assessments, drill records, and request tracking logs.
  • Coordinate with WBG’s Risk Office and insurance underwriters to facilitate fire safety assessments and implementation of recommended measures.
  • Assist in special projects to develop and recommend fire and life safety risk mitigation strategies for global offices.
  • Execute assigned tasks from the Senior Global Fire Marshal and provide support in meeting deadlines and ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Conduct mission travel as required to support fire life safety initiatives globally.
  • Participate in cross-training programs to ensure the ability to support HQ fire safety operations when needed.
  • Assist the Program Coordinator, Chief Fire Marshal, and Senior Global Fire Marshal with additional tasks as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, degree in fire science or related field preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or GED equivalent with 3 years of experience within a Fire Science or related field.
  • National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Certified Fire Inspector 2 (CFI) or Three (3) years of equivalent experience and proficiency in the use of NFPA/ICC codes, standards, and conducting fire inspections preferred
  • Experience in operating Fire Life Safety systems.
  • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to conceptualize and analyze problems; identify problems and provide clear concise solutions
  • Be self-motivated and possess a strong initiative and follow through ability.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as working independently
  • Ability to direct and motivate team to perform the required tasks.
  • Must be a team player and responsive to the operational needs, goals, and objectives of Corporate Security.
  • Be competent in the use of open-source databases.
  • Proficiency in an additional language other than English, preferably French or Spanish, is highly desirable.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to work various shifts and weekends, as dictated by the operational needs of the team.
