Job Description

The Senior Protective Intelligence Analyst is responsible for producing intelligence products that support the clients Global Safety and Security program. The Protective Intelligence Analyst t will research, analyze and author intelligence assessments using both internal and open-source materials to produce and distribute intelligence products through approved channels. The Protective Intelligence Analyst reports directly to the Manager of Protective Intelligence.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct regular monitoring of online open sources, social media platforms, & client specific intelligences gathering tools for known and potential threats to company security, client personnel, general operations, or reputation
  • Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of issues pertaining to global security, such as: terrorism, natural disasters, crime trends, as well as international politics and economies to understand potential impact to areas where the client has operational interests
  • Proactive identification and monitoring of trends, warnings and provide an accurate understanding of present and future threats within a specified region or other scope determined by manager and client.
  • Proactive support of global travel risk and executive protection programs, ensuring compliance with travel risk protocols, conducting risk assessments, and providing timely updates to travelers to ensure their safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support business continuity, including supporting annual plan maintenance, monitoring global events, and preparing reports to safeguard personnel and operations.
  • Monitor geopolitical events that may impact executive travel, company events, and/or operations, and provide periodic and timely reporting
  • Effectively analyze relevant threats and produce actionable intelligence deliverables in a timely manner for any and all incidents
  • Create intelligence reports and products, including but not limited to threat assessments and travel risk assessments
  • Gathering and maintaining database of statistics across the overall operation via manual and approved software base methods
  • Support the Executive Protection Team with actionable intel and monitoring of travel routes and executive residences
  • Conduct background investigations as directed by client
  • Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information

Additional Job Functions

  • Perform other related duties and special project functions as assigned
  • Develop and maintain relationships with public and private sector security community stakeholders
  • Support Executive Protection Operations through effective Intelligence support
  • Develop Executive Protection Operations Plans
  • Prioritize and manage several tasks simultaneously
  • Manage/Facilitate cross-team alignment
  • Identify resource and knowledge gaps
  • Provide clear outcome scenarios, along with identifiable indicators and triggers, that will support the most preemptive and proportionate operational response
  • Provide direct support for regional security operations, event security, executive protection and retail intelligence needs
  • Communicate with various stakeholders regarding intelligence requirements
  • Lead efforts to adapt to the addition of new corporate partners and intelligence requirements
  • Be responsible for analyzing and resolving non-routine problems
  • Establish and maintain systematic, cross referenced intelligence records and files. This includes:
    • Research sources
    • Relationship networks
    • Non-routine discoveries and lessons learned
    • After-action reports from trainings and incident management
    • Maintenance of distribution groups
    • Other aspects related to organizational knowledge management 

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years equivalent military/professional intelligence experience
  • Military/Government/Association/Private Sector Formal Intelligence Training certification required
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent time-management, project management, oral communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills required
  • Must possess advanced skills and experience in collecting and analyzing large quantities of data to produce assessments, publications, and reports
  • Strong familiarity with all major social media platforms
  • Must be knowledgeable on world news and current events
  • Can effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to function independently in stressful situations
  • Knowledge of security procedures, life-safety, and business continuity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook,
  • Track and Analyze major threat trends for the client and create risk reports (E.G. Viral Outbreaks/Terrorism/Weather Patterns/ and Geo-Political Issues).
  • Conduct Intelligence research on behalf of the client

 

BENEFITS and COMPENSATION:

$95,000 annually

  • Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance
  • Enrollment in our company’s 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirements
  • Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
