Job Description

Allied Universal Technology Services is looking to hire a Project Superintendent to run the day-to-day operations on the construction site and control the short-term schedule. This includes labor tasking, coordinating subcontractors, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. The project superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.

 

Pay Range: $75,000 / yr - $120,000 / yr

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees daily construction and integration operations by scheduling subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in the critical path, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with specifications
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to communicate site activities, provide regular project updates, and manage documentation, including ASIs, RFIs, material submittals, permits, budgets, and scope adjustments
  • Provides technical oversight of integration operations, including blueprint reading, installation quality, system testing, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Performs comprehensive quality control by conducting site walks, maintaining detailed daily logs, identifying and correcting deficiencies, coordinating inspections, and resolving construction conflicts to maintain standards
  • Enforces compliance and safety requirements by monitoring subcontractor performance, issuing noncompliance notices, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols
  • Lead multiple job site simultaneously, presiding over subcontractor meetings, managing punch lists, ensuring clean and organized job sites, and motivating teams to maintain productivity, professionalism, and collaboration
  • Opens the jobsites at beginning of the day and secures the jobsites at the end of the day

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVES):

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive construction experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of electronic security system integration experience in field or office (technician or management role)
  • Leads construction and electronic security integration projects from planning through execution, providing clear direction to subcontractors, technicians, and vendors while ensuring accountability across all phases
  • Oversees complex installations of access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and fire systems with strong technical expertise in blueprint reading, system integration, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Maintains responsibility for scheduling, resource allocation, and on-site problem resolution, driving projects to completion on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards
  • Builds and sustains strong relationships with executives, field staff, and clients through effective communication, proactive issue resolution, and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Manufacture certifications in electronic security systems such as Lenel, Genetec, Brivo, AMAG, Axis, Milestone, Avigilon, DMP, Bosch, Notifier, Edwards (EST), Simplex
