Job Description

Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services is seeking a results-driven, highly motivated Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to support our client.  As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will use open-source material to find, research, and assess information that could indicate a potential concern to the client, its employees, and its interests. You will create detailed reports of incidents using internal incident management reporting systems and assist in the response to larger incidents that impact the client and develop protocols and practices to drive efficiency and to manage crises.

The Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst play a crucial role in safeguarding organizations from cyber threats. Their primary responsibility is to gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities. By monitoring the threat landscape, these professionals stay ahead of the curve, helping the organization implement effective countermeasures and mitigation strategies.

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours a week, with some overtime possible; this includes a mandatory 90-day probationary period depending on job performance and operational needs. To be successful in this role applicants must possess the ability to interact with all levels of corporation management, liaison internally and externally with a multitude of other departments and personnel. Strong oral communication and representational skills are required.  Plans and implements intelligence reporting processes with little or no supervision, at times under stressful conditions.

  • Works within the Threat Intelligence Group, analyzing threats and vulnerabilities, reviewing Open Source (OSINT) and technology risk platforms to mitigate potential risks and threats to the client’s corporate critical infrastructure (personnel, facilities and assets, business operations, and reputation).
  • Physical Threat Intelligence Monitoring and Reporting is also a major component of this position.
  • Monitoring the threat landscape and staying up-to-date on emerging trends and actor activities
  • Developing comprehensive threat intelligence reports, briefs, and alerts to inform our security strategy
  • Collaborating with our security teams to implement effective countermeasures and mitigation strategies
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest threat intelligence tools, techniques, and best practices Providing subject matter expertise and training to internal teams on threat intelligence-related topics Develop expertise on client operations and priorities in order to discern trends and warnings and provide an accurate understanding of present and future threats.
  • Provide proactive intelligence on potential threats
  • Maintain systematic and organized intelligence records and files.
  • Provides direct support for local and regional security operations.
  • Communicates with various stakeholders regarding intelligence requirements.
  • Initiate, execute and maintain intelligence relationships inside and outside the organization
  • Safeguards and maintains highly sensitive and confidential information regarding the corporation.
  • Represents corporation in associations, partner organizations, and industry, as directed.
  • Assists in managing vendor technology platforms.
  • Coordinates and communicates with client support staff and subsidiaries.
  • Maintains positive internal employee/management relations.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization and across diverse cultural and language barriers.

  • Ability to quickly adapt as the external environment and organization evolves

As a core function, the Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth research on emerging threats, tracking the activities of threat actor groups, and leveraging advanced analytical tools to uncover patterns and trends. They analyze this data to create comprehensive threat intelligence reports, briefs, and alerts that inform key stakeholders and guide the organization's security strategy.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence
  • One year+ experience in physical threat intelligence
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in data gathering, analysis, and reporting
  • Knowledge of threat actor groups, their motivations, and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and threat intelligence platforms
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skill
  • Must be well versed in current technologies and open source search methodologies.
  • Ability to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.
  • Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Must be able to effectively and confidently disseminate information to individuals, groups, peers, clients, executives and stakeholders.
  • Must be able to quickly adapt to dynamic and stressful situations.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

$105,000 annually
