Job Description

Allied Universal is currently seeking an experienced security operations professional to lead one of our large Enterprise Account Technology customer based in CA. This Vice President of Operations is responsible for the strategic national oversight of the security program for our client, ensuring contract compliance and the development of relationships with Allied Universal client contacts nationally. The VP will be a liaison for regional and local Allied Universal Branch Managers to help ensure all operational, financial and administrative functions for assigned account have been performed. The VP will be successful by providing quality customer service and leadership to our clients while assisting in achieving the financial goals and objectives of Allied Universal.

 

 This position is remote to candidates based in Santa Clara, CA or Austin, TX regions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and provide strategic vision for dynamic, growing Enterprise Accounts
  • Establish extensive client relationships with executive-level contacts on all assigned portfolios, ensuring client satisfaction through ongoing communication and in person meetings
  • Coach, manage, lead and mentor assigned Enterprise Accounts Portfolio Managers, providing continuous support and guidance to effectively mitigate any issues that arise and ensure contract compliance
  • Effectively develop and manage the annual budget while closely monitoring financial performance and controlling costs to drive exceptional financial results and operational metrics for all assigned portfolios
  • Perpetuate and amplify Allied Universal’s brand as the leading security and facility services company with cutting edge technology and tailored solutions through effective needs assessments, relationship building and the delivery of customized solutions
  • Coordinate 50% monthly travel effectively to optimize in person client meetings, industry events and conferences
  • Drive collaboration and provide capture management on strategic deals, including development of capture strategies, cross-functional team coordination, customer presentations, price setting and RFP responses
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry, structure, trends, and issues to ensure full discovery and understanding of customer’s primary business goals, operations, challenges, and requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study with a minimum of ten (10) years of security operational leadership experience
    • Associate’s degree in Business or related field of study with a minimum of twelve (12) years of security operational leadership experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of fourteen (14) years of security operational leadership experience
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of management experience in the security industry with a combination of account management, customer service, operations, technology solutions and integration services
  • Adept at inspiring, empowering and developing teams to achieve their full potential, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that drives high-performance and employee satisfaction
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving operational excellence and leading direct and cross-functional teams
  • Cultivated a strong personal brand within the industry, demonstrating a successful track record of positioning the company's brand effectively throughout local communities and national associations
  • Demonstrated initiative, adept at handling multiple assignments, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
  • Committed to delivering high-quality customer service, building client relationships, upholding integrity, and delivering continuous financial results
  • Proficient In web-based applications and computer systems Including Microsoft Office and (BI) Business Intelligence tools for metrics analysis, reporting and presentations
  • Collaborative and engaged leader that has proven success with all levels of the organization to identify, analyze, and solve problems for continuous improvement
  • Subject matter expert within the security industry with comprehensive knowledge of business practices and challenges
  • Strong financial, oral, and written interpersonal communication skills to respond to high profile rebid opportunities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Business or related field of study
  • Law enforcement and/or military experience

  • Base salary range of $110,000–$160,000, depending on experience and location, plus 30% annual bonus potential
