Allied Universal® is hiring a Proposal Development Representative to support Event Services. The Proposal Development Representative will oversee the proposal process from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, deadline management, and document precision. You’ll work closely with sales and operations teams to coordinate winning proposals, ensuring every submission is polished, compliant, and compelling.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the full proposal lifecycle, from reviewing RFPs and RFIs to coordinating content and ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Coordinate various aspects of proposal preparation to ensure that all parts are completed and produced for submission within proposal requirements and within a set timeframe
  • Project Manage the proposal from start to finish, meeting multiple deadlines and creating alignment between stakeholders
  • Evaluate and clarify client requests prior to submission and participate in pre-proposal meetings
  • Write and edit competitive proposals, presentations, and qualifications working with a team in various geographical locations and time zones
  • Provide direct support to Request for Proposal (RFP) for new business and rebids for existing customers
  • Provide direct support for the development of sales presentations
  • Ensure workflow accuracy in OneDrive, SharePoint, and Proposal Automation Systems
  • Participate in workflow activities with prospective and existing customers
  • Complete special projects such a reporting and tracking bid workflow and proactive updating of proposal and material statistics
  • Develop new content for proposal and presentations
  • Track annual sales and rebid data
  • Content management of historical data and company material

QUALIFICATIONS (Must Have):

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
    • Associate’s degree with at least three (3) years of experience in proposal/project management
    • High School diploma with five (5) years of experience in proposal/project management
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in coordinating sales-related materials, proposals, or business development projects
  • Prior sales experience and/or operational support in administration and project management
  • Ability to extract information out of technical documents
  • Ability to interface with clients and seek clarification on proposal requirements
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to include advanced knowledge of formatting and editing
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Able to build strong relationships with peers and senior management
  • Superior written and oral communication skills to include editing/proofreading for grammar

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Nice to Have):

  • SalesForce experience
  • Experience working with proposal software systems (Loopio, RFPIO, SmartDocs)
  • Experience working with content management systems (Seismic, Highspot)
  • Basic InDesign, Photoshop and/or graphics experience
