Job Description

The Intelligence Analyst will provide dedicated intelligence services for the Client’s global Corporate Critical Infrastructure while maintaining effective Data Privacy regulatory compliance and Quality Assurance standards. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Protective Intelligence Analyst to be responsible for the collection, analysis, production and dissemination of accurate, timely, relevant and actionable intelligence products to stakeholders in the prevention and mitigation of identified risks that could impact the client’s critical infrastructure. These Protective Intelligence Analysts will be effective within all three protective intelligence focuses:

  • Tactical – social media/open source threat monitoring and alerting
  • Operational – near term threat trends against critical infrastructure
  • Strategic – long term impacts against Corporate mission, objectives and priorities

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Providing all-hazards, global threat monitoring, social media monitoring and analysis to support client assets, leadership, security and facilities
  • Preparing contemporaneous alerts and contribute to daily/weekly all-hazards analytical products and event-driven briefs
  • Conducting extensive data mining, social media monitoring and comprehensive open-source research as needed, using a broad range of tools and resources
  • Tracking current events in real time and providing situational awareness and lessons learned
  • Providing coverage to support the continuous operation of the intelligence department as needed to maintain proper manning levels to support the clients’ needs
  • Use of multi-lingual, geo-enabled, text-analytics, social media and web-monitoring platforms to collect and analyze information to provide clients with real time alerts and weekly reports regarding direct threats to their organization, executives, and affiliates
  • Evaluate information collected from various social media platforms and open-source media to identify issues on behalf of clients, in determining the range and scope of threats to their interests and infrastructures
  • Other duties as required by Director, Intelligence Analysis

Education/Qualifications

  • Be a highly skilled communicator with exceptional writing, organizational and reading comprehension skills
  • Have a combination of relevant education and work experience
  • Have proven experience in handling large quantities of information from a variety of sources on a tight deadline
  • Have the ability to function in a dynamic environment with constantly changing requirements and expectations
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Be willing to work overnight shift
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
