RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Communication with Operation Managers and Site Supervisors to coordinate Security escorts when events require our support
  • Coordination to deliver badge readers and explain the badge reader instructions to the customer – Badge readers must be delivered 30 minutes prior to the event time frame and collected towards the end of the event
  • Must monitor, respond, acknowledge and mange information in a timely manner 
  • Receive and acknowledge the Events Weekly Look Ahead Report and must inform the correspond region of upcoming events requiring security support or badge reader requests
  • Required to attend walk-throughs or meetings when scheduled by Event Organizers
  • Schedule calls with the Event Organizer to confirm event details
  • In performing functions, duties or tasks, Coordinators are required to know and follow safe work practices
  • Coordinators are held accountable for successful job performance. Job performance standards may be documented separately, and may include functions, objectives, duties, or tasks not specifically listed herein
  • Required to be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations
  • Works closely with the Scheduling and Finance departments to fulfill the security staffing and event invoicing requirements
  • Creating estimated cost quote for customers requesting approval, cost center/PO and a POC associated to the listed cost center/PO
  • All functions or duties are to be carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, and in compliance with applicable company process and procedures
  • Enforces Event process and policies at all client events using teams and tools provided
  • Identifies security shortfalls via the organizational chain and offer suggestions for improving the Events Security Program
  • Utilizes excellent customer service, customer relations, and communication skills in dealing with client employees, vendors, visitors, and contractors. Creates and maintains an atmosphere that is responsive, courteous, and respectful; presents a professional image of the Events team
  • Identifies stakeholders and risks accordance with each site and event needs. Creates security operating plans and contingency planning. Coordinates with all stakeholders to meet client needs and standard operating procedures
  • Responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of security operation plans for all client events. Maintains an open line of communication with stakeholders for ongoing questions regarding procedures and processes
  • Responsible for meeting all security staffing requirements based on each event’s specific needs.
  • Manages and briefs security staffing on event posts and sites
  • Updating and maintaining daily logs and tracks event metrics utilizing Smartsheets and Microsoft Office
  • Required to work after hours or weekends when events require security support

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) – five (5) years of professional-level experience required. Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement and/or military required
  • Must possess a valid state Guard License, or have applied and subsequently be issued such a license prior to employment. As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test. Additionally, as a condition of continued employment, employee must maintain current active status of Guard License at all times, and must carry the license at all times while on duty
  • Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.

  • Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.  Demonstration of strong customer service orientation required, with ability to effectively resolve client issues in a professional and service-focused manner and to de-escalate situations before they become hostile or unpleasant required
  • Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
  • Ability to train and coach others, and to effectively enforce post orders, security standards and company policies equitably and consistently
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required
  • Incumbent must be available to work outside normal shift schedule on an as-needed basis, and must be accessible by phone or pager 24/7 for emergency response

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College education or business classes
  • Experience in scheduling, operations or other functions of security industry
  • Ability to write effective and concise reports in neat, legible handwriting is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and email
