Job Description

*This position is not a cyber-security position.*

 

The Intelligence and Investigative Analyst is responsible for producing intelligence products that support the clients Global Safety and Security program as well as conduct investigations, as needed. The Intelligence and Investigative Analyst will research, analyze and author intelligence assessments using both internal and open-source materials to produce and distribute intelligence products through approved channels. The ideal candidate will also conduct investigations into misconduct, logistics, and other security related investigations investigative processes, interviews, and case management.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities Major Responsibilities

  • Monitor for threats and provide intelligence to mitigate the potential impact
  • Develop vulnerability and threat assessments
  • Create and disseminate reports
  • Assess and manage travel risk
  • Support the executive protection program, events, internal teams
  • Ability to conduct investigations; to interpret and apply laws and regulations; to work with local, state, and federal agencies; to conduct interviews and gather facts; to evaluate findings; to prepare reports; and to communicate effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties Include

  • Plan and implement intelligence reporting processes with little or no supervision, at times under stressful conditions
  • Prioritize and manage several tasks simultaneously
  • Manage/Facilitate cross-team alignment
  • Identify resource and knowledge gaps.
  • Maintain systematic threat assessment and information and records
  • Knowledge of investigative principles, techniques, and procedures; and court procedures, practices, and rules of evidence.
  • Provide direct support for regional security operations, event security, executive protection, and intelligence needs
  • Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders regarding intelligence requirements
  • Initiate, execute, and maintain positive intelligence relationships inside and outside the organization
  • Safeguards and maintains highly sensitive and confidential information regarding the Client, the Client’s operations, and its intellectual property
  • Represent Client in intelligence associations and at industry conferences, as directed
  • Assist in managing vendor open-source resources
  • Monitor global events and incidents; report on potential impact to Client and their critical infrastructure
  • Provide travel risk management support to include traveler tracking and monitoring, pre-travel assessments, and alerting.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and across diverse cultural and language barriers
  • Ability to quickly adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
  • Lead efforts to adapt to the addition of new corporate partners and intelligence requirements
  • Utilize expertise to support the development of improved team strategy and processes supporting the clients service level agreement
  • Initiate, execute and maintain intelligence relationships inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and across diverse cultural and language barriers
  • Ability to testify in hearings and court proceedings as required.
  • Be responsible for analyzing and resolving non-routine problems

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years corporate investigative experience
  • 5+ years in a related field (operational intelligence, criminal intelligence, investigations, etc)
  • Interview Certification (Wicklander-Zulawski, John E. Reid, or Certified Forensic Interviewer – CFI)
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent time-management, project management, oral communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills required
  • Must possess advanced skills and experience in collecting and analyzing large quantities of data to produce assessments, publications, and reports
  • Strong familiarity with all major social media platforms
  • Must be knowledgeable on world news and current events
  • Can effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to function independently in stressful situations
  • Knowledge of security procedures, life-safety, and business continuity
  • Proficient in a wide variety of office suites and communication platforms.
  • Extensive experience with risk intelligence and case management toolsets.
  • Track and Analyze major threat trends for the client and create risk reports (E.G. Civil Unrest/Severe Weather/Geo-Political Issues/Insider threats/Workplace Safety).
  • Conduct Investigations on behalf of the client (E.G. Property Theft)
